Announcing Email Mark-up for Signup Emails

Google has lead the way with technology for pulling relevant information out of emails and presenting it in useful ways. We’ve all become familiar with Google’s cards for flight information, parcel tracking and tickets across Gmail and Google Now.

This month we have started including schema.org data in our enrollment emails to customers signing up to an event on Let’s Participate. By adding schema.org mark-up to the emails we send your participants, we can make that information available across their Google experience. Inbox, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Search, and Google Now all already use this structured data. We expect that Cortana and Siri will also find this data useful in surfacing useful information to the participants.

This data is being sent in the emails using the data imput in Let’s Participate. Now is a good time to check that your event dates, start and end times are accurate and up to date.

We are committed to making Let’s Participate the best event management platform
