New Android Event Management Mobile App!
We’re excited to announce that we’ve released the latest version of the Let’s Participate mobile app! You might be wondering how we have possibly managed to improve on the previous version. Well here’s the low-down on the newest update and what you can expect from our event management scanning application.
We have simplified the interface of the app in the latest version to ensure ease of use. This enables volunteers with little IT experience to get involved in your event without the stress of extensive pre-event IT training. Despite the simplified and self-explanatory design the app has retained all of its previous features, and we’ve added even more!
Let’s Participate’s mobile event management app has been developed from the team’s experience in attending live events, and from watching and learning how event volunteers use the app, when events are in progress. This has enabled the app development team to understand what users need, and want to see, from a participant scanning application.
Another feature of the update allows all scanning settings to be reported back to the application control panel. This helps event managers to see the scanning settings registered for each device on the event. The app also reports the location of each scanning device so event managers can see if users are scanning to the right locations & checkpoints. This centralised reporting system will enable event organisers to remotely check for issues that occur from incorrect device settings without disrupting all volunteers.
The scanning app now boasts an improved bar code and QR code scanning function that is built in. This means there are no extra downloads required on your devices, providing quick & accurate scanning throughout the event.
